Please use these simple steps to enable the Google Assistant:

Note: The Google Assistant compatibility requires your robot and iRobot® HOME App software versions are up-to-date. Please visit Software compatibility of a Wi-Fi connected robots and the iRobot HOME App for additional information.

  1. Ensure your robot has already completed Wi-Fi setup

  2. Open the iRobot® HOME App and navigate through Menu > Smart Home > Voice Assistants > Google Assistant to begin set-up

  3. Follow the directions in the iRobot® Home app to link your Wi-Fi connected robot by authorizing the Google Assistant with your iRobot® Home account

Your Google Assistant enabled device will indicate when the set-up is complete. After your iRobot® Home account is successfully linked, you can use Google Home to talk to the robot, just say “Hey Google, tell Roomba® to start cleaning.”

Please have a look at the following instructions on linking your robot with the Google Home app or the Google Assistant app.
