Use the following procedure to regularly clean the Roomba® s Series Robot Vacuum bin and bin well.
Washable Bin

Open the lid, lift the bin handle, and pull up to remove the bin.

If debris is in the bin, over a trash container, press the bin release button and open the door on the bottom of the bin to dispose debris.
- Close the bin door and bin handle.

Open the filter door on the top of the bin, remove the filter, tap it against a trash container to clean, and set it aside. The filter is not designed to be washed.
- To wash the bin, with the filter out, rinse the bin with warm water. Ensure the bin is fully rinsed and debris is not built up on the sides of the bin.
- Place the bin upright with the bin door and filter door open to let air dry.
- Once the bin is completely dry, close its bottom lid, place the filter back in, and close the filter door, ensuring it snaps into place.
Bin Well
- With the bin removed from the robot, wipe the bin sensors with a clean, dry microfiber or soft cotton cloth and a clean lightly dampened melamine foam, such as a Magic Eraser for the vacuum path and bin lid contacts
- Place the bin back into the robot, lower the bin handle, and close the lid, ensuring it snaps into place.
